In the 145 vehicles owned by the traffic operator TAK, the driver has got the ability to send and receive text messages and talk to the traffic management over the Internet. The driver can activate an alarm signal if necessary. The vehicles can also be given priority traffic lights in a number of intersections. In Tallinn, all vehicles have internal and external displays, as well as amplifiers and speakers for audible announcements (for example the name of the next stop) installed.
